The incident took place around 2 p.m. Saturday when officers were called to the CVS for a report of a shoplifter, said Lt. John Slusarz.
Store employees told police the woman stole about $1,000 worth of cosmetics before leaving the store, Slusarz said.
The shoplifter is described as a white woman, in her 40s or 50s, with a ponytail and glasses, wearing blue jeans and a black sweatshirt.
